I had not heard about this movie until I saw it was popular at the video rental charts. Colin Firth plays a gay professor who have lost his long-time partner. He finds little meaning in life and just try to make the days pass. Its a complicated artistic movie about the difficulties of having lost something vital in life.

It does not sound like a action filled flick, right? It is not, but it is just my dramatic cup of tea! I love these kind of movies with character development and slow tempo.

Unfortunately, the film lost it grip on me the last 30 minutes. I do not know why. But still, worth watching! Great acting, good drama, good story. I would have enjoyed a different turn though.
